We install and optimise your picture sources to get the best performance, choosing the best output signals and routing them with the least amount of degradation to give your large screen the best possible picture.

Sound

Home cinema speakers can take many shapes and forms. including floor-standing speakers, inconspicuous satellite speakers, in-wall, and in-ceiling speakers, all of which offer high levels of performance.

Cinema surround sound

5.1 Surround Sound

This configuration comprises 5 channels of full range sound and 1 channel of restricted bandwidth. The 5 full range channels are split into the front left and right, and rear or side speakers with the centre speaker used for the movie dialogue. The sixth channel – the 1 in 5.1 - is used for the low range frequencies that give you that deep thump that you can feel when Indiana Jones takes one on the jaw.

6.1 Surround Sound

6.1 is similar to 5.1 but with the addition of an additional channel for the rear. This channel is commonly split between 2 speakers at the rear and is used for movies encoded with enhanced Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES soundtracks.

Surround Sound for Music

With the development of DVD-Audio and SACD, music is now also available in true surround sound. Designed to succeed CD, both DVD-Audio and SACD offer higher performance and multi-channel (5.1) capabilities.

Control

Picture this: the maiden voyage of your new home cinema system and you've chosen a screening of a rare and timeless classic. The canapés are crumbs, everyone is seated and waiting with baited breath for the start of the flick.

You’ve been too hasty; you haven’t taken the time to learn how to operate the projector, and the receiver with its 100 button remote. On top of this your blinds won’t close properly and there is a reflection on the screen every time a car passes by.

This is where you need the power of our pre-programmed touch-screen remote control units. With a single remote you can control all your equipment, and, while we’re at it, let’s fix up those blinds and have them automatically close whenever you fire up your home cinema, oh go on then, we can also automate your lighting and room temperature settings at the same time.

And what’s more, it won’t take you three years and a dissertation to learn because it’s all there on the screen. Want to watch a movie? Tap the ‘Watch movie’ icon and witness the spectacle of your home transforming itself into your personal cinema.
